Four student organizations are currently available at UWF Emerald Coast.
UWF Emerald Coast Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association (SGA) is a student organization elected by you, the students, to represent UWF Emerald Coast. SGA is committed to understanding the needs of the students and to ensure that their future at UWF Emerald Coast is a stellar experience.
There is a continuous effort among students, faculty, and administration to help ensure that a positive university experience is maintained for all parties concerned. UWF Emerald Coast SGA plays an intricate role and influences the university's decision-making process by serving as a liaison between the students and governing bodies.

Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
The UWF Emerald Coast student branch of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) provides a great opportunity for its members to meet and learn from students, faculty, and professionals in the area of engineering. The UWF Emerald Coast student branch holds meetings with members of the engineering community including Eglin AFB and private engineering firms to discuss IEEE related topics. The branch also organizes extracurricular activities such as canoe trips to Blackwater River in Northwest Florida. The branch maintains contact with the professional Northwest Florida IEEE Chapter.

Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA)
The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) is a professional organization dedicated to the unification of public relations practitioners and to their professional development.
