Biography

Bayne Beecher brings over 30 years of leadership experience in operations and manufacturing across the building products and automotive industries. He currently serves as Vice President at Stroop Design & Construction, Inc., a Sarasota-based design-build firm serving Southwest Florida with design, construction, and value-driven delivery for more than two decades.

Previously, Bayne spent 16 years at PGT Custom Windows & Doors, where he led quality systems, operations, production planning, and program management. His expertise in process improvement, product development, and continuous innovation underpins his reputation for operational excellence and material performance assessed to withstand Florida’s coastal climate.

In addition to his Stroop leadership role, Bayne serves as a business representative on CareerSource Florida’s Board of Economic Advisors, lending his regional perspective to workforce and economic development efforts. This builds on over 10 years of service in the manufacturing sector, where he serviced as President of the Sarasota‑Manatee Area Manufacturers Associationand Board Chair of FloridaMakes Board of Directors, working to support manufacturing growth, workforce development, and economic prosperity in the region.

Bayne’s active engagement with the Haas Center reflects his commitment to applying private-sector insights to public economic development. As a board member of the Haas Center's Board of Economic Advisors, he offers strategic guidance on issues such as industry-cluster growth, workforce readiness, and regional business resilience.

Bayne holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and an MBA from Webster University. He lives in Palmetto with his wife and four children.
