Biography

President, Sarasota-Manatee Manufacturers Association

Mr. Beecher joined PGT® Custom Windows + Doors in 2008, and has held various leadership positions across the organization from Quality Systems Management, Operations Management, Production Planning and Control, and Program Management. He has served in both Window and Door Assembly, Insulated Glass and Glass Plant Operations. He served at Eaton Corporation, Delphi-Mechatronics, and Stoneridge Corporation before joining PGT® Custom Windows + Doors. He has over 25 years of manufacturing experience in the Automotive and Building Products Industries, specializing in product development, new product launches, and process and continuous improvement. Mr. Beecher serves as the President of the Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association (SAMA), which is the voice of manufacturing, and advocates on behalf of manufacturing at a local, state and national level. He also serves on the Board of Directors of FloridaMakes, which is Florida’s NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership center. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Manufacturing and Logistics Council which represents the Florida manufacturing and logistics industries to assure their prosperity. Mr. Beecher is a Certified Six Sigma Black, earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
