Biography

Nahal Suzanne Jamir writes fiction and nonfiction, focusing on her Iranian American culture. She grew up in South Carolina and has lived and taught in Florida for 16 years.

Her writing has recently been published in journals like Agni Online, Bennington Review, and Ploughshares. She is the author of the story collection In the Middle of Many Mountains (Press 53, 2013). Her second story collection, American Names, is in progress.
