Biography
Laura Herbek, instructor, teaches composition, literature, rhetoric, and public and academic writing. She contributed articles and photographs to Rhetoric and Writing: Composition at UWF, and saw her short fiction published in Blunderbuss Magazine. Herbek’s interests include creative writing, contemporary rhetoric, and the rhetoric of emergency communications.
Degrees & Institutions
Herbek earned an AA in English and a BA in English with a sociology minor from the University of Alabama Huntsville. She earned her MA in English with a creative writing focus at the University of West Florida, where she received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award and served on the editorial team for The Troubadour.
