All students wishing to major, minor, dual enroll, or take applied music lessons at the Williams School of Music must complete an audition. See below for information on auditioning for ensembles only.
While all students are encouraged to audition on campus, most studios will accept a recorded video
audition in lieu of a live audition under extenuating circumstances. Additionally, students who wish to audition on campus but have scheduling conflicts may request an alternate on-campus audition date. Both types of alternate arrangements must be made by both completing the Audition Request Form and emailing music@uwf.edu .
Priority music scholarship deadline will be March 31, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Students must have their university application and School of Music audition completed by the priority scholarship deadline. Scholarship consideration preference will be given in order of completed applications received.
