Paul Pilger

Biography

Paul Pilger teaches mass communication and communication writing courses.  

He has also taught at the University of Baltimore in the Klein School of Communications Design and was a Filmmaker in Residence and Operations Manager at the Florida State University Film School. 

Pilger’s professional experience includes working as a Senior Technology and Media Researcher for VOCUS Public Relations (now Cision), as a fundraiser for the National Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Fund, as a researcher and writer on K Street, and as a project manager for a Tallahassee IT firm.  

Degrees & Institutions

Pilger has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in English and Film and an M.F.A. from the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts. 

He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Communication Theory through FSU.  His dissertation research focuses on intellectual property rights and performance royalties in the U.S. digital and terrestrial radio markets.
