9-9:30 a.m. Engaging Differences Through Civil Discourse: At UWF, every voice matters. Join us as we learn the art of civil discourse to enhance interpersonal skills that are vital for scholarship, career, and life.
9:40-10:10 a.m. Various Locations Nautilus Group Meeting 1: Gather with your Nautilus Group and get to know fellow new Argonauts. Check your name tag for your group assignment.
10:15-10:35 a.m. Commons Auditorium, 22 *Campus Safety: Learn how UWF Police work diligently everyday to keep you and our campus safe.
10:40‑11 a.m. *Argos Care: Support, Accountability, and Leadership: Hear from the Dean of Students about your responsibility and expectations as a student. Also, learn about the resources available to you through the Dean of Students office.
11:05-11:30 a.m. Great Hall, Building 22 *Resource Fair: Explore the many resources available to you at UWF.
11:30 a.m.-12:05 p.m. Nautilus Market *Lunch
12:15-1:55 p.m. Various Locations Nautilus Rotations: Three 30-minute sessions. Each session will be held at 12:15, 12:50 and 1:25 p.m.
2-3:30 p.m. Various Locations Academic Advising 101 and Registration: Join First Year Advising for an in-depth session about your MyUWF account, the registration process, general education courses, and how to register for an advising appointment.
3:30-3:45 p.m. Great Hall, 22 Mandatory Orientation Check-Out: Stop by the Great Hall to receive your Nautilus Card and check-out from your orientation session.
until 5 p.m. Various Locations Taking Care of Business: Further explore campus, visit the UWF Bookstore, meet with the Military and Veterans Resource Center, speak with Student Accessibility Resources, visit First Year Advising, or finalize any last-minute items with Argo Central.

10-10:30 a.m. Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82 *Argo Welcome: Experience a warm welcome into the Argo family! Meet student leaders and orientation staff, and hear from a senior administrator as we dive into our agenda.
10:35‑11:10 a.m. Various Campus Locations Nautilus Group Meeting 1: Gather with your Nautilus Group and get to know fellow new Argonauts. Check your name tag for your group assignment.
11:15‑11:35 a.m. Commons Auditorium and Great Hall, Building 22 Resource Fair: Explore the many resources available to you at UWF.
11:35-11:40 a.m. University Commons Patio, Building 22 Gather With Your Academic College: Check your name tag for your major's academic college. If you are undeclared, feel free to attend the college of your anticipated major, or an area of interest.
11:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Various Campus Classrooms Meet Your College: Join the academic colleges to gain insight to the unique opportunities, programs, and services available to students. Learn more about your expectations as a student and how you can be successful in your academic college.
12:30-1:10 p.m. Nautilus Market, Building 22 Lunch
1:15-1:40 p.m. Conference Center, Building 22 *Costs, Payments, and Refunds: Learn from Student Accounts how to access Transact to view account balances, authorized aid, due dates, and payment options. Discuss the refund process, Florida Prepaid, and bookstore deferments.
1:40‑2:05 p.m. *Essential Campus Services: Business and Auxiliary Services will provide practical knowledge about the Nautilus Card, UWF Bookstore, Dining, and Parking and Transportation Services.
2:05-2:30 *Campus Safety: Learn how UWF Police work diligently every day to keep you and our campus safe.
2:30‑2:50 p.m. *Argos Care: Support, Accountability, and Leadership: Hear from the Dean of Students Office about your rights and responsibilities as a student, and the resources available to you through this office.
3‑3:25 p.m. *The Honors Experience: Kugelman Honors Program members will join Honors faculty, staff, and current students to learn more about the Honors experience. Be sure to check your name tag to identify your affiliation.
3‑4:25 p.m. Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business, Building 79, Room 171 *Financial Aid Review (optional): Meet with the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at this drop-in session to review your financial aid award package. You can meet individually with a financial aid counselor to discuss any outstanding requirements as well as review federal and state awards, institutional aid and scholarships, including admissions scholarships and Florida Bright Futures. For questions about Florida Prepaid, third-party billings, payment plans option or short term loans, attend the breakout session presented by Student Accounts. Be sure to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA before orientation.
3‑4:25 p.m. Various Campus Locations Breakout Sessions: Choose three 25-minute sessions. Each session will be held at 3, 3:30 and 4 p.m.
GI Bill® Benefits, Military Affiliated, and ROTC Scholarships: Learn about services and assistance provided by the Military and Veterans Resource Center to all students affiliated with the military, including those using GI or VA benefits. You will also learn about incentives and opportunities available to become a commissioned officer through the Army and Air Force ROTC programs.
Living the Argo Life: Housing and Residence Life will share the benefits of living on campus, housing resources and services, what students should know to get ready for college life, and important information about campus move-in.
Argo Guide to Success: A crash course on how to get the most from your college experience. 
Importance of Financial Literacy: This Louis Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy presentation is partnered with PenAir Credit Union to enable students to make well-informed financial decisions and effectively manage their money throughout their lives. We will discuss how to analyze your income, set financial goals, develop a budget, establish credit, and manage debt. Students are encouraged to ask questions in order to increase their understanding of financial concepts.
4:30 p.m. Conference Center Lobby, 22 Refreshment Break: Take a quick break to relax with a snack.
4:30-5:10 p.m. Conference Center, 22 Life as an Argonaut: Join us for a fun and interactive showcase about life as an Argonaut.
5:15‑5:35 p.m. Various Campus Locations Nautilus Group Meeting 2
5:35‑6:15 p.m. Nautilus Market, 22 Dinner
6:15‑6:25 p.m. Martin Hall, 920 Travel to Martin Hall: Follow your orientation leaders back to Martin Hall to change into more comfortable clothes for the Recreation Showcase. Groups will begin leaving Martin Hall at 6:40 p.m.
6:25-6:40 p.m. Change for Recreation Showcase: Dress comfortably.
6:40-6:55 p.m. HLS Facility, Building 72 Depart Martin Hall for Recreation Showcase: Prepare to join Recreation and Wellness for an interactive event showcasing the climbing wall, a group fitness class, intramural sports, and a tour of the facilities.
7‑8:15 p.m. Recreation Showcase: Join Recreation and Wellness for an interactive event showcasing the climbing wall, a group fitness class, intramural sports, and a tour of the facilities. Dress comfortably.
8:45‑9:45 p.m. Martin Hall, 920 Argos After Dark: Join your orientation leaders and other new Argos for some fun to wind down from your busy day. Trivia Night will be in the Multipurpose Room. Outdoor games will be on the patio.

7:45‑8:25 a.m. Nautilus Market, Building 22 Breakfast: Students who do not spend the night will need to arrive at the Nautilus Market at 8 a.m. to check in with their orientation leader. Failure to attend the second day of orientation will require you to attend another orientation.
8:30 a.m.‑3:30 p.m. Various Campus Locations Group Rotations: Advising 101, Nautilus Card, Career Readiness, Civil Discourse, Nautilus Group Meetings, Unfiltered
12:40‑1:30 p.m. Nautilus Market, Building 22  Lunch
3:30‑4 p.m. Martin Hall Mandatory Orientation Checkout: Students may begin checking out of Martin Hall at 3:40 p.m. Students must check out with an orientation leader in Martin Hall and pick up their Nautilus Card student ID.
3:30‑5 p.m. Various Campus Locations Taking Care of Business: Further explore campus; visit the UWF Bookstore; meet with the Military and Veterans Resource Center, Student Accessibility Resources, or First Year Advising; or finalize any last-minute items with Argo Central.

Orientation leaders will be gathering students on the back patio of Building 74 to head to the Meet Your College sessions.

4:15‑4:30 p.m. Conference Center, 22 Refreshment Break: Take a quick break for a snack in the Great Hall. You are then welcome to take a seat inside of the University Commons Auditorium or relax in the Great Hall.
4:30‑5:10 p.m. Life as an Argonaut: Join us for a fun and interactive showcase about life as an Argonaut.

8 a.m. Canvas Orientation Modules: Access to the orientation course begins at 8 a.m. You will have until 11:59 p.m. on Day 2 to complete all modules.

10 a.m.

Argo Welcome: Experience a warm welcome into the Argo family. You will get an introduction to expectations, agenda for the next two days, and learn that at UWF, every voice matters. Please log into your specific meeting using your UWF Student Email.

10:15-10:45 a.m.

Engaging Differences Through Civil Discourse: At UWF, every voice matters. Join us as we learn the art of civil discourse to enhance interpersonal skills that are vital for scholarship, career, and life.

10:50-11:35 a.m.

Nautilus Group Meetings: You will be meeting with your orientation leader and several other new students in a small group meeting, also known as a Nautilus Group meeting! Please plan on being at this required meeting.
11:45 a.m.‑12:15 p.m. Career Development and Community Engagement
1:15-1:50 p.m.

Meet Your College: Spend time meeting with the college of your chosen major. If you are undeclared, you may choose one that interests you.
