Living Learning Communities
Living Learning Communities (LLCs) make it easy for you to find your community of new friends at college. In some cases, you will be in the same classes, share the same professors and can help each other get involved on campus in ways that are meaningful to you.
LLCs
Kugelman Honors
The Honors LLC is open to students in the Kugelman Honors Program. This LLC fosters an inclusive, close-knit community for UWF’s most academically ambitious students.
Nursing
The Nursing LLC is open to pre-nursing students of the Dr. D.W. McMillian BSN Nursing Program. Students in the LLC will have the opportunity to participate in scholarly and social activities designed to help them succeed at UWF.
STEM
The STEM LLC is open to students of the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering. Students can take advantage of free tutoring offered to residents as well as study sessions hosted in the residence hall for specific STEM courses.
Global Living
Global Living: The Global Living Living Learning Community is open to exchange students and upper level students and is housed in the Villages. Students will be able to interact with other students from many parts of the world through participation in residential programs.
LLCs are run by University departments/colleges that work together with housing to help students find community outside of the classroom while living on campus.
If you’re interested in being placed within an LLC, please indicate which one(s) you’re interested in when you complete your Housing Contract. There is no additional cost associated with being placed in an LLC.
