Faculty and Staff Resources

CDCE is excited to assist faculty and staff in providing career development opportunities for our students and alumni. Below are many of the resources we offer to our UWF community. Feel free to contact our office for assistance or information you may need to help our UWF students and alumni prepare for their future careers.

On-Demand Resources

The Office of Career Development and Community Engagement offers a variety of tools, resources and services to help your students anytime.

On-demand and eLearning Content for your Course

CDCE's Online Career Resources Canvas course offers virtual career-related content that you can easily integrate into your own online courses. Complete the CDCE Presentation and Online Resources Request Form to request access to the course and other on-demand content.

Request a Handshake Account

Handshake is the university-wide job posting system for students and alumni to search for jobs, internships, co-ops and more.

CDCE will create a student account for any UWF faculty or staff member* looking to assist their students and alumni in searching and applying for positions on Handshake. Please fill out the Handshake Account Request Form to request an account.

*Please note if you graduated from UWF, you may already have access to Handshake through your MyUWF account. Log in to MyUWF, search for Handshake, and log in. You will be able to build your profile.

Big Interview

This online system combines training and practice to help students improve their interview techniques and build confidence. You can utilize this tool in your course to allow students to:

  • Practice mock interviews in a virtual setting
  • Review written and video curriculum on the job search and interview process
  • Receive feedback from you or a CDCE staff member on their virtual mock interview

You are able to customize your own interview questions for assignments. Please contact your College Liaison or email career@uwf.edu for more information.

Argo2Pro: Career Readiness Skill Development

The Argo2Pro: Career Readiness Program is designed to help students create a plan for developing vital career readiness skills and to provide evidence to employers that they are career-ready. If your students could benefit from using Argo2Pro in conjunction with your class, please encourage them to complete Argo2Pro's Skill Confidence Assessment and Individualized Career Plan Builder.
