ArgoFirst was the first time I had ever felt like a part of a community...The welcoming faces and the nice people helped...me come out of my shell not only in the dormitory, but throughout campus life. The [staff working] the events always seemed to light up when they saw me, and I guess it made me feel less scared." --Isabella '25-'26
ArgoFirst Impact
"ArgoFirst became much more than just a series of events it became a foundation for my transition into college...What started as casual conversations over snacks or group games turned into real friendships that I really value. Those relationships made campus feel smaller and more supportive" --Zoe '25-'26
ArgoFirst Impact
"In addition to helping form a friendship, ArgoFirst events have helped me to stay motivated during stressful and overwhelming periods over the past year. They have consistently provided brief but welcome times to relax, and often these events typically have food that helps keep my spirits up." --Hunter, '25-'26

"When I first arrived at Martin Hall, the place was so unfamiliar and scary to me...Looking back on every [ArgoFirst] event I attended, I can say I am extremely excited [that] I have built better time management and gained friends. I believe I can achieve my academic goals and still find time to have fun." --Charlotte, '25-'26
ArgoFirst Impact
"ArgoFirst events have been the best gateway into getting academic support on campus. Specifically for me, they have helped me pass my tough classes in both my first and second semesters by being the best resource to find academic help...you may need." --Zachary, '25-'26
ArgoFirst Impact
"ArgoFirst changed how I see myself. It taught me that success in college is more than getting a degree; it’s managing time, asking for help, and building lifelong friendships. I am more responsible and confident. For the rest of my time in college, I will continue using the study habits and time-management skills I developed." --Niko, '25-'26
