ArgoFirst
UWF proudly offers a first-year residential community in both Martin and Argo Hall. Persistence and Academic Success Services (PASS) offers targeted programming and events to students living in these halls to connect students with campus programs and resources, build community, and enhance the first year experience.
The ArgoFirst Experience
ArgoFirst is designed to help first-year students connect, grow, and prepare for the future. We believe student success begins with a sense of belonging. Through engaging experiences, intentional programming, and campus partnerships, students build meaningful relationships, strengthen academic skills, and connect with the people and resources that help them thrive. Throughout the first year, ArgoFirst encourages students to develop confidence, explore academic and career goals, and build the habits that contribute to success at UWF and beyond.
Located in Martin Hall and Argo Hall, ArgoFirst provides a supportive experience that combines community, academic support, and campus engagement. Students benefit from a collaborative network of professional staff, peer tutors and coaches, and campus partners dedicated to helping them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
