Lindsay Jusino

Biography

Lindsay Jusino DNP, RN, CNE, Lecturer, is the course lead for Introduction to Pharmacology and Patient Centered Care II in the Traditional BSN program.

She completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of West Florida and is a graduate of the UWF BSN Nursing program. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Leadership from Jacksonville University and she is a Certified Nurse Educator through the National League of Nursing. Her nursing background includes orthopedics, cardiac progressive care, critical care and mental health nursing.

Lindsay’s research interests are centered on utilizing simulation technology to create immersive learning experiences that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. She has a particular interest in developing collaborative transition-to-practice programs with community hospitals to foster real-world learning opportunities and strengthen the connection between academic and clinical settings.
