Biography
Jamie McClure, MSN, RN, CCRN, lecturer, teaches Patient Centered Care II. She embarked on her nursing journey at Pensacola State College, earning her associate’s in nursing in 2019. As a critical care flex RN right after graduation, Jamie discovered her passion for nursing education, setting her on a path of continuous learning and growth.
During her graduate studies at Auburn University, Jamie expanded her horizons as a travel RN, enriching her knowledge and skill set across various healthcare settings. In 2023, she achieved her Master of Science (MSN) in nursing education, solidifying her commitment to shaping the next generation of nurses.
Jamie currently balances her roles as an ICU RN and nursing faculty at UWF. She remains deeply engaged in patient care, working PRN as a trauma ICU RN. Outside of work, Jamie finds joy in traveling and cherishing moments with her husband and beloved dogs.
