Counseling & Psychological Services
Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) offers counseling and therapy to help students address how to manage, cope and grow with the stress associated with school and life. The primary goal of counseling is to help students develop the personal awareness and skills necessary to overcome problems and to develop in ways that will allow them to take advantage of the educational opportunities at the university.
We can help with problems such as:
- Depression
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Conflicts
- Abuse
- Grief
- Academic concerns
- Sexual issues
- Past abuse
Wellness Services provides health promotion services in the areas of alcohol abuse & misuse prevention, sexual health and sexual assault prevention.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling (or individual therapy) provides you with the opportunity to meet with a therapist in order to address concerns that you feel are interfering with your life.
Emergency Services
If you feel like you are experiencing a mental health emergency and need to be seen by a counselor right away there are several emergency service options available to you.
