Biography

Dr. Thomas C. Gilbar is Chair, Lecturer and Undergraduate Advisor for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, a faculty member since 2003, he has taught many courses. They range from Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture to Circuits, Electronics, Software Tools, and Digital/VHDL Design. His research interests are Digital Circuit Design, Microprocessors, and Artificial Neural Network.

Gilbar has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He has two degrees from Florida International University – a M.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. His work has been published in Annual Review of Communications and IEEE Southeastcon, among others.
