Biography

Mr. Sassou Khabou earned his Master of Science degree in Data Science from the University of Florida and his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Florida State University. Currently, he is working on obtaining his Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of West Florida. Mr. Khabou is committed to the success of his students. He believes that traditionally complicated subjects like math and statistics can be greatly simplified with engaging teaching methods. Mr. Khabou received the UWF Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award in 2025 for the Department of Math and Statistics. He received the same award again in 2026 for the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering. In his free time, Mr. Khabou enjoys car maintenance, car detailing, basketball, pickle ball, biking, swimming, and being out in nature. He also loves spending time with his two cats, Momo and Puma.
