Biography

Matthew earned a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in education and an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of West Florida. After watching his mom teach student success courses, he has had a passion for becoming an educator from a young age. After completing graduate school, he worked for two years in the K-12 system at Pine Forest High School, where he was trained in various methods of active learning and engaging students. He then helped build the Stem Success program at UWF. He also enjoys slacklining, weightlifting, and skateboarding.
