Biography

Clayton Jowers received both his B.S. in Mathematics and his M.S. in Mathematical Sciences from The University of West Florida. After briefly teaching at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, he returned to his alma mater as a Lecturer in the Fall 2025.

In graduate school, he had an interest in fields such as Combinatorics and Number Theory, as well as topics involving abstract algebraic structures. Since then, he has become immensely passionate about teaching and is constantly seeking ways to improve his instruction methods so that his students can succeed, not only in his class but in their degree programs and careers.
