Welcome to December!

Campus will be closed for the holidays from December 22, 2025, to January 2, 2026.

When you come back to campus in the Spring, celebrate the start of a new semester with your fellow Argos at Spring it On. Events like Chill and Cheer, Cozy Cinema, the Spring Involvement Fair and CAB’s Mystery Pop-up are a great way to ease back into campus life.

Spring It On

January 7-16

Spring It On is the University of West Florida's spring welcome celebration for new and returning students. Join your fellow Argos at exciting events, discover involvement opportunities and make new friendships. Stay updated on upcoming activities and ways to engage with peers through this site. All events are free for current students with a valid Nautilus Card.

Intramural Sports

All semester long

Intramural Sports (IM Sports) is a fun way for students of all skill levels to compete in season-long sporting events, smaller tournaments and pick-up games. Sign up and have fun!

Events coming up in the spring include Ping Pong, Basketball, Pickleball, Footvolley and more. Check out the full list and get registered to play.

Student Involvement Fair

Are you interested in finding a student organization to join with other Argos who are into the same things you are? Come checkout the involvement fair to choose from over 85 different student organizations.

MLK Day of Service

January 16

Celebrate Dr. King’s legacy with breakfast and reflections, followed by serving the community. You must register on Argo Pulse to participate!

Early March

UWF students can shop for professional attire at JCPenney at a discounted rate, which will be available to students and alumni on event night. Suit Up! Is designed to assist students in building a professional wardrobe for job or graduate school interviews and future employment.

Career Weeks features three separate events that connect UWF students in specific areas of study with potential employers in that industry: Business and Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology and Construction, and Health and Education.

CAB After Dark

April 10

Step right up to CAB After Dark! Enjoy a thrilling night filled with fairground fun, ride the rollercoaster, play classic carnival games, and indulge in all your favorite fair foods. Bring your friends and experience lights, laughter, and excitement under the night sky!

Take Back the Night

Early April

Take Back The Night is an annual event with the goal to combat all sexual violence through strength, support, and the commitment to ending sexual violence. This event happens in April, so we will post more information closer to that date.
