Center awarded $400K NSF EPIIC Grant

UWF has received an award from the National Science Foundation to expand innovation capacity and establish a new Office of Industrial Innovation that will serve as a central hub to connect UWF faculty with regional businesses, streamline research partnerships, and provide students with hands-on experience through funded projects. As part of a multi-university initiative, this effort will strengthen UWF’s ability to collaborate with industry, government, and educational partners, enhancing the region’s role in economic development and positioning the University to contribute to national research priorities in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity, and energy technologies.
