Mission
The mission of the Center for Behavior Analysis is to prepare students to become ethical, research-driven behavior analysts who are equipped to serve varied populations and address socially significant challenges across global settings.
Objectives
- Content Knowledge and Application
Graduates will demonstrate mastery of the conceptual and empirical foundations of behavior analysis, including the ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions that are responsive to individual needs and based on continuous assessment and data analysis. - Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking
Graduates will apply scientific reasoning, research design, and data evaluation methods to assess behavior, inform intervention, and contribute to the field through evidence-based practice and scholarly activity. - Professional Communication and Collaboration
Graduates will communicate effectively using both oral and written modalities, with the ability to translate behavioral principles and research findings for varied audiences, including clients, caregivers, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams. - Ethical Practice and Professional Integrity
Graduates will adhere to the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical decision-making, applying behavior-analytic principles with cultural humility, respect for client rights, and accountability to relevant professional codes and guidelines. - Impact and Social Responsibility
Graduates will engage in practices that promote socially significant behavior change, support positive outcomes across multiple populations, and contribute to addressing societal and organizational challenges through behavior science.
