Our students engage in hands-on, high-impact scholarly and creative activities that enable them to develop critical thinking and professional skills. Through various outlets, they have opportunities to showcase their scholarly and creative works.
Student Scholar Symposium
A History student showcased "An Excremental Miracle Cure," his research on ancient Roman medical remedies at the 2020 Student Scholar Symposium.
Daily Life in Ancient Rome
Each year, History students are invited to present research on life in ancient Rome.
Speech and Debate
Students from all disciplines are welcome to compete in local, regional and national speech and debate competitions, include the UWF Marks Tournament.
Directed Study
Nicole Allen, '20, developed a strategic communication plan as part of a directed study for her Social Media Strategic Planning with Dr. Heather Riddell.
Archaeology Field Schools
Students may participate in the Archaeology Field Schools or the Forensic Field School, housed in the Department of Anthropology.

Art students exhibit their work at The Art Gallery at UWF. Students may also partner with the Pensacola Museum of Art on special projects.
