Our students engage in hands-on, high-impact scholarly and creative activities that enable them to develop critical thinking and professional skills. Through various outlets, they have opportunities to showcase their scholarly and creative works.
Student Scholar Symposium
Explore. Research. Gain the knowledge that will take you to the next level. Get Involved with your discipline. Shadow multiple Faculty mentors and learn what undergraduate research is really about. Take your educational experience to the next level with the Office of Undergraduate Research. Research, scholarly, or creative activities are possible for every discipline and major.
Speech and Debate
The UWF Speech and Debate team not only participates in various state, regional, and national events but also hosts competitions on campus. Students from all disciplines are welcome to compete and may choose to participate in campus speech and debate activities throughout the school year, ranging from public performances to competitive campus events.
Archaeology Field Schools
Students may participate in the Archaeology or Forensic Field Schools, which are housed in the Department of Anthropology.
The Art Gallery at UWF
Art students exhibit their work at The Art Gallery at UWF. Students may also partner with the Pensacola Museum of Art on special projects.
Reconstructing French History
Students engage in hands-on, high-impact practices that help them translate the theory and skills they learn in the classroom.
