2UWF Transfer Student Program
UWF has partnered with Gulf Coast State College, Northwest Florida State College, Pensacola State College, and Tallahassee Community College to provide students with an easy transition to UWF. Students in the program enjoy the benefits of being a UWF student while pursuing their AA degree. Benefits include the following:
- Professional, specialized advising to help you reach your goals.
- Help with meeting all UWF admissions requirements.
- No application fee to UWF.
- Access to UWF services and events through UWF ID card.
- Easy transfer of records and information between 2UWF School and UWF.
- Obtain a UWF email account while attending 2UWF partnered institution.

Alumna Melissa Strozza's big win in MLB history
In 2019, Melissa Strozza, 2011 UWF graduate, was a part of baseball history. She played a key position for the Washington Nationals, fielding the team’s communication efforts all the way to the World Series.
Strozza said that when the Nationals contacted her about an open position on their communication team, she jumped at the opportunity for career growth. She currently serves as the National’s communication manager. Strozza thanks UWF for the role her education played in getting her to where she is today.
