Biography

Will Kennedy is an assistant professor of clinical practice in the UWF Department of Communication. He teaches courses focusing on journalism, video production, content creation and writing for new media. 

Kennedy has more than 20 years of expertise in television news and sports. He has worked for television stations in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina and Texas, building an award-winning background in storytelling for both broadcast sports and news.

He also has experience in corporate communications and education, working for Gulf Power and as a teacher in the Escambia County School District.

Additionally, Kennedy serves as the UWF Athletics communications director, is the voice of the Argos for UWF Athletics broadcasts and hosts the University's coaches programming throughout the year.

Kennedy received his BA in Communication Arts and MA in Strategic Communication and Leadership from UWF.
