  • In Fall 2025, Parking Services transitioned from physical hang tags to License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Virtual Permit System (VPS). All current, valid alumni parking permit holders will be automatically transitioned to this new system and hang tags are no longer needed to park on campus. New alumni parking permit holders will be enrolled in the VPS and will not be issued a hang tag.
  • Alumni permit holders are able to park in any “Commuter” parking space on campus. Please do not park in any spaces marked “Fac/Staff,” “Reserved,” and/or with a “Number.”
  • Alumni parking permits are non-transferable.
  • Any alumni who enrolls again at UWF, whether as a special student, a degree-seeking student or an online student will need to purchase a student parking permit from the Parking Portal accessible through MyUWF.
  • Alumni who are employed by UWF must purchase a Fac/Staff parking permit in the Parking Portal.
  • Please see the University’s Parking Rules and Regulations for more information about campus parking.
  • Alumni parking permits (formerly hang tags or stickers) obtained prior to September 1, 2020 will continue to be valid indefinitely unless revoked by Parking Services.

Questions about parking rules, regulations and citations should be directed to Parking Services. Alumni must abide by applicable Parking Services policies. Parking Services reserves the right to revoke alumni parking permits if policies are violated.
