Engaging On-Campus
Whether you have traveled internationally already or are thinking about studying abroad, you will find it easy to connect globally right here on campus.
Connect with the World at UWF
UWF has a vibrant global community. In addition, there are many ways to be involved globally while staying in Pensacola. Global citizenship is much more than traveling. It is a mind-set for engaging the local community!
UWF Global Quarter
UWF Global Quarter is a community of globally-minded UWF students, both domestic and international, who welcome you to join them as they expand horizons right here on campus. There has never been a more exciting time to get involved. Our students and active student organizations bring the world to UWF.
You’ll find Global Quarter at Lunar New Year celebrations, International Education Week, guest lectures and playing volleyball in the recreation gym. Our volunteers lead Global Conversations to help international students learn more about the U.S. and are in community schools sharing music and dance. Join us to sample sweets and coffee from around the world, learn to salsa or to discuss critical world issues. The opportunities are endless!
We welcome you to join our global community! If you would like to learn more about Global Quarter, please contact international@uwf.edu or find us on Facebook and Instagram.
Check out UWF Global Quarter on social media to find out what’s happening right here on campus.
