Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the Student Organization serving the residential communities of the University of West Florida.
Mission Statement
The Residence Hall Association of the University of West Florida has been established to address resident concerns about their welfare at UWF, coordinate area representatives and their community councils, encourage leadership development among all residents, and act as a liaison between UWF residents and the Department of Housing and Residence Life, Student Government Association, and all other associated departments and communities at the University of West Florida.
Come talk to us!
Any resident can join the Residence Hall Association by attending building Community Council meetings or the weekly RHA General Body meeting. Each week, RHA provides an avenue for residents to express concerns or share ideas for bettering the on campus experience. RHA also serves as a liaison between residents of UWF and the Department of Housing and Residence Life, Student Government, and all other relevant departments and communities on campus.
RHA also provides residents with the opportunity to attend state, regional, and national leadership conferences where students can connect and learn from their peers at other institutions. These conferences allow UWF students to grow as leaders and bring back exciting new ideas to campus.
RHA also hosts many events on campus throughout the year open to residents to enjoy and participate in. Past events have included Game Explosion, Cosmic Bingo, Bonfire Nights, and Bananapaloozathon.
