IFC Recruitment

Fraternity recruitment takes place at the beginning of each semester.

As a new student at UWF, recruitment is a great introduction to college life and a chance to form a network of close friends within weeks of arriving on campus. During recruitment, you will have opportunities to meet members of each chapter, discover more about the fraternity, and learn about membership requirements and expectations.

All PNMs must complete the following steps. This allows each fraternity to see your contact information and for the FSL office to verify that you have the minimum GPA for IFC recruitment (3.00 cumulative high school GPA for first-time-in-college students. For students with an existing college/university GPA, a 2.50 is required. This is based upon whichever is your most recent enrollment). All potential new members must also complete the following steps before receiving or accepting a membership invitation or bid.

1. Complete the virtual FSL Info Session. The steps below outline how to enroll for the course through Canvas. In order to satisfy the membership eligibility requirement, the quiz needs to be completed with a score of 80% or higher.

1. Access Classmate via MyUWF.

2. Click on "eLearning" at the top of the page.

3. Navigate to "Self Enrollment."

4. Click "Enroll" on 'Fraternity and Sorority Life Information Course.'

2. Register on ICS!
