Part-Time Job Fair
Searching for part-time work while balancing your class schedule and assignments can be difficult. Make it easier by attending the Part-Time Job Fair to assist you in your part-time job search! Local employers will be on campus looking for UWF students to fill open positions, many with flexible schedules. UWF departments will also be showcasing their on-campus jobs available to students. This is your all-in-one job search event to kick off the academic year.
Aug. 30 | 1–4 p.m.
Location: Commons Auditorium & Great Hall
Meet the Firms
The Iota Phi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) and the Department of Accounting and Finance will hold its Meet the Firms Networking event and you are invited to attend!
Meet the Firms provides an opportunity for UWF students to network with professionals in their major field. We invite students that are seeking full-time, internship, and/or Co-op positions with accounting firms to participate; however, the event is not meant to be solely a job fair, so freshmen and sophomore students who are still early in their degree programs can certainly benefit from the interaction with professionals. Therefore, firms will be participating in this event, even if the organization is not currently hiring.
Sept. 21 | 4:30 p.m. –6:30 p.m.
Location: UWF Conference Center
All Majors Career & Internship Fair
The All Majors Career & Internship Fair is a university-wide career event for companies interested in hiring UWF students and alumni to fill full-time, co-op, and internship positions. The average job search takes about 6 months, so the time to start looking for opportunities is now!
Nov. 1 | 12–3 p.m. CST
Location: University Commons Auditorium & Great Hall (Bldg. 22)

Career Event No Show Policy
UWF students and alumni are considered "no-shows" when they fail to show up or cancel their RSVP at least 24 hours in advance of the respective face-to-face or virtual career event, fair, or interview. Prior to registering, students and alumni should make informed decisions and only register for events, fairs, and interviews that fit into their schedules and that they plan to attend.
Late cancellations and no-shows reflect negatively upon both the institution and the entire university community. Therefore, there is a professional expectation that students and alumni will attend any career event, fair, and/or interview for which they RSVP. In the event of an extreme emergency that will prevent attendance, students and alumni are expected to email the Office of Career Development & Community Engagement (CDCE) at career@uwf.edu as soon as possible.
Students and alumni who no-show for career events, fairs, and/or interviews will have their Handshake accounts deactivated until they meet with a Career Coach in CDCE. If they write and send a letter of apology/explanation to the employer (forward the email to career@uwf.edu), Handshake access will be reinstated immediately upon sending.
Accessibility
The University of West Florida supports an inclusive learning environment for all students. If there are aspects of our program that hinder your full participation, reasonable accommodations can be arranged. Prior to receiving accommodations, you must register with the Student Accessibility Resources by filling out an Enrollment Application. Appropriate accommodations will be determined based on the documented needs of the student. For information regarding the registration process, e-mail sar@uwf.edu or call 850.474.2387.
