The Crucible by Arthur Miller (Mainstage Theatre)

Set in Salem, Massachusetts in the late 17th Century, Arthur Miller's classic drama is a seraring

portrait of a community engulfed by hysteria. Rumors of women practicing witchcraft within the town

leads to the trail of a young girl, Elizabeth Proctor. The ruthlessness of the prosectors and the

eagerness of neighbor to testify against neighbor illuminates the destructive poswer of socially

sanctioned violence.

Goblin Market, Adapted by Peggy Harmon and Polly Pen

Based on the poem by Christina Rossetti (Studio Theatre)

November 21 and 22nd at 8:00p.m. and November 23rd at 2:30p.m.

Goblin Market tells the story of two proper Victorian sisters, both grown women

with children, who return to their childhood nursery to relive the hauntying memories

of their youth.

This musical contains adult themes and situations.

Our Second annual community-wide production returns. Scrooge, an old and bitter miser,

is visted by four ghosts on Christmas Eve who teach him kindness and compassion.

Cosi by Louis Nowra (Studio Theatre)

In this hilarious black comedy, Lewis, a university student, agrees to direct Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte

at a local mental hospital because he needs the money. As Lewis's life is touched by these

extraordinary people and the opera lurches forward, we learn along with Lewis, that when chasing

your dreams it helps to be a little crazy.

April 2nd - 19th 2009

Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim (Maintage Theatre)

April 17, 18 at 8:00p.m. and April 19th at 2:30p.m.

This Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine blends well-known

fairy tales with the original story of a childless Baker and his Wife, who are attempting to reverse

a curse on their family and have a child. While Act 1 ends with everyone poised to live "Happily Ever

After", Act 2 brings to mind what happens afer, the "Happily Ever After" and shows that all actions

have consequences.
