Requesting a Flexible Route
Flexible Route Options
There are two types of Flexible Routes to choose from:
- Route any document
This is the most flexible option. You can send any document, including Word documents, spreadsheets, or PDF forms. You can have users send an official departmental document, or they can send user-created documents as needed.
Do not include signature lines in your documents.
- Route information from a web form
With this option, a customized web form is built to capture the information for your route. When a user fills out the form, a PDF document containing the information is automatically prepared for routing.
Due to the programming required, allow more time for this option.
Submit Your Request
To request a Flexible Route, prepare all of the information listed below, then submit an ITS Request form.

This information will be included in the online Help for your route, so be clear and concise!
