Kathy Kimmons-McCoy

Kathy serves as the Grants Specialist for the Center for Cybersecurity. As a Graduate of the University of West Florida and a true Argo at heart, she joined the UWF family to serve in various roles for over twelve years.

 

Before joining the UWF Center of Cybersecurity team, she was the Grant Manager for the College of Education and Professional Studies and the School of Education. During this time, she took on the additional role of Grant Coordinator for the Para to Teacher Support Program, addressing the teacher shortages within the State of Florida. This involved working with Paraprofessionals in Special Education to create a more manageable pathway to gaining their teacher certification and remaining in the classroom. 

In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her husband and furbabies, Toby and Mia.
