The UWF Center for Cybersecurity works to enhance public understanding of cybersecurity and sponsors cybersecurity research done by local students and faculty.
Bringing Cybersecurity to the Forefront, Together
Through thoughtful, collaborative and strategic partnerships, we bring a level of illumination to cybersecurity that individually would not be possible, creating mutually beneficial relationships that positively impact workforce and economic development and community outreach.
The UWF Center for Cybersecurity partners with government, businesses and various industry entities and the community to address real-world cybersecurity issues while developing local talent, creating jobs, and encouraging and promoting cybersecurity as a whole. We work tactically with academic and strategic partners of all kinds, including AppRiver, IHMC, Navy Federal Credit Union and Northrop Grumman to deliver frictionless action plans for their unique cybersecurity needs. We also participate in community outreach programs that support and mentor K-12 and college students interested in cyber education.
Community Outreach Programs
The Center for Cybersecurity supports the regional and broader community through outreach programs.
