Chula King Appointed Interim Provost Chula King, chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance, has been appointed interim provost effective Oct. 1. King received her B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the UWF and her Ph.D. in Accounting from the Louisiana State University. King has been on the faculty at UWF since 1982 and has served as chair since 2002. She has received numerous awards for teaching, research and service and is a member of several professional associations. King will serve as interim provost until June 30, 2009. A national search for a provost will be conducted during the 2008-2009 academic year. |
