Biography
A proud Argonaut and passionate fundraiser, Tori Bennett brings nearly a decade of dedicated service to UWF to her role as Interim Vice President for University Advancement. Since joining University Advancement in 2014, she has held progressively senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Executive Director of Development. In that capacity, she managed the Offices of Donor Relations and Advancement Services, led fundraising for the Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering, the Usha Kundu, MD College of Health, and the School of Education, and supported the Retired Employees Association.
A double alumna of the University of West Florida, Bennett earned her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Marketing in 2012 and received her Master of Science in Administration (Leadership) in 2016. During her undergraduate years, she captained the UWF women’s soccer team to the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championship, a hallmark achievement that shaped her leadership style and connection to the university.
Bennett remains deeply engaged in the community and the profession, holding leadership roles within the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ West Florida Chapter and actively participating in Pensacola Bay Area Impact 100 and the Junior League of Pensacola.
Reflecting on her appointment, Bennett shared her gratitude and excitement to continue advancing UWF’s mission: “I am excited to serve my alma mater, continue advancing UWF’s mission and build upon the success of the Here for Good campaign … I am also deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back to a University that has given me so much.”
