Management Advisory Services

UWF Internal Auditing and Management Consulting can provide assistance to departments that request management advisory services.

Advisory and related client service activities, the nature and scope of which are agreed to with the client, are intended to add value and improve an organization’s governance, risk management, and control processes without the internal auditor assuming management responsibility. Written reports or results from the projects are ordinarily only shared with the requesting department.

Examples of such services we have provided in the past include:

  • Reviews of financial data.
  • Interpretations of laws, regulations, policies, or procedures.
  • Participation on an ad hoc software implementation committee.
  • Participation on a search committee.
