CHEM Success
Chem Success sessions are designed to offer students additional support for Chemistry I and II (CHM 2045/2046) outside of their lecture, with the help of peer Chem Success Leaders.
About CHEM Success
The Chem Success program provides additional support for students enrolled in General Chemistry 1 (CHM 2045), General Chemistry 2 (CHM 2046) or Organic Chemistry (CHM 2210). These 50 minute Chem Success sessions are mandatory for all students and are linked to the lecture section in which they are enrolled. In these sessions, peer undergraduate leaders direct students in best practices for successfully navigating these Chemistry courses.
Chem Success provides students with an opportunity to work together in small groups to complete worksheets and activities designed to further solidify Chemistry concepts. Students will also have the advice and guidance of peers who have completed these courses in addition to the support they receive from their lecture professor.
