Dr. Oliveira received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the USF Department of Electrical Engineering in 2018. His research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning/deep learning with cybersecurity, specifically in malware analysis and resilient infrastructures.

Dr. Lakshmi Prayaga, a Professor in the Department of Cyberserity and Information Technology, conducts research that focuses on applications for technology in education, management and training.

Dr. Hossain Shahriar is Associate Director and Professor. His research interests include mobile and web security, mhealth, EHR systems and healthcare security, HIPAA compliance checking, malware analysis, automatic checking of vulnerabilities, and mitigation.

Dr. Dallas Snider is a Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technology as well as serves as the UWF Vice Provost. He researches data mining and data analytics techniques to improve knowledge discovery in the health, energy and national defense domains.

Dr. Ramezanzadehmoghadam (Taeb) received her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in 2024. Her research interests lie at the intersection of generative AI and large language models with cybersecurity, machine learning, and human-computer interaction.
