Biography

Behrouz Zolfaghari received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from AmirKabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. He has done three postdocs in the Indian University of Technology Guwahati, the University of Guelph (Ontario, Canada), and Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan). He has worked as an assistant professor at Osaka University (Japan) and as a visiting assistant professor at Miami University (Ohio) before joining the University of West Florida. His research interests include high-performance computing and cybersecurity.

Behrouz Zolfaghari has published over 70 papers and books. BookAuthority has ranked his book on Physical Uncloneable Functions (PUFs) as the best book of all time in the area of cryptographic hardware. He has won the ScienceFather Best Researcher Award for his work in cryptographic hardware.
