Cannon Green Renovation

Update: Cannon Green Project Update:  The sidewalk between B22 (Commons) and B32 (Pace Library) will be closed temporarily for the installation of underground infrastructure and subsequent concrete replacement. The anticipated reopening of this corridor is expected Wednesday, February 4. Thank you for your patience as we improve this part of campus.

A project to install new irrigation and renovate the Cannon Green and the lawn west of Pace Library will be starting the week of January 26. Construction fencing will be going up by next Tuesday, Jan 27, that will restrict access to these locations during site work with an estimated duration of two months. The north/south sidewalk from B22 to B32 (Pace Library) will be kept open to maintain pedestrian traffic between the buildings. There may be periodic closures of this and other sidewalks as needed for underground infrastructure work. Please contact Jeff Etheridge at petheridge@uwf.edu or Missy Nicholson at mnicholson@uwf.edu for additional information.

If you have large trash items, such as pallets, visit MyUWF to submit a Facilities Work Order (see app image below). Request to have your item(s) picked up and placed in one of the construction debris dumpsters on campus. Email photos of your debris in the location where it should be collected to maintenance@uwf.edu. This will allow the Facilities team to know what to pick up.
