Registration and Membership

You can register for classes, and pay your membership dues online, using the registration form or by calling the Leisure Learning office. To register online, you will need to create a New Student Profile. This will enable you to log into our system and make online transactions.

How to register for membership and classes online

  1. Follow the Register Now button link on the Leisure Learning website or go directly to https://uwf.augusoft.net/
  2. Click on “Login/Create Account” (on top left)
  3. On signing screen:
Existing users: Type in your username and password. Username is most often the email address you use and the password that you set up after your account was created.
New users: Click on “Create New Profile” button.
  4. New profile creation:
Select the “Annual Leisure Learning membership” and the “Student Profile (single user)” button.
  5. Fill in the required fields to create a new student profile for the next three pages and click on “Submit.”
  6. Once the membership has been added to the shopping cart you can check
out and purchase the membership or add classes.
  7. To add classes, look over to the far left-hand side, select “Browse,” then choose “Leisure Learning,” then click on “General Classes.” This will populate all of the Leisure Learning classes that are available for registration.
  8. You can click on the class title for more information or click on “Add to Cart” to place the class in your shopping cart.
  9. If the class states “Add to Waiting List,” it means the class is already full. Please note: You can only add yourself to a waiting list if your membership is already purchased and still active.
  10. When adding a class to your cart, a pop-up  window will ask if you are
adding any guests. We always encourage Leisure Learning members to invite a friend. The class fee applies to you and your guest.

Once you’ve added all of the classes to your cart, you can check out and pay with a credit card.

Online credit card payments are processed by USA ePay, the industry leader in secure, online payment technology. USA ePay provides a SecurityMetrics Site Certificate which validates their commitment to the security of all the customers and confirms that the site is tested monthly against security vulnerabilities.

If you are unable to attend your registered class, you must notify the Leisure Learning office at leisurelearning@uwf.edu or 850.473.7468 at least 48 hours in advance of the class to receive a refund or credit towards a future class. Any cancellation given less than 48 hours in advance will not receive a refund or credit. Please be courteous to your volunteer instructors and fellow members by adhering to this policy. For pre-paid events that include items such as food, tickets, entry fees, etc., refunds will not be issued.

During the Fall or Spring semester, take unlimited classes for only $185 per semester! This option is only available by filling out the registration form in the catalog and mailing a check or calling the Leisure Learning office and paying by credit card. Some classes are not eligible for this offer and are marked with an asterisk beside the class title. Note that individual class fee refunds are not available if you are unable to attend OR for canceled classes.

Class

Classes are available at a number of convenient Pensacola, FL locations, including:

Our instructors are experts in their fields and include distinguished university faculty, both active and retired, as well as community educators and leaders. We also invite members who wish to share their passion for a particular subject. Instructors tell us they enjoy teaching to an audience with life experience who want to be there. They also enjoy teaching without having to read papers, correct tests, and most of all, not having to give out grades.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, sometimes class dates, instructors, times and locations change. Leisure Learning will make every effort possible to notify you, in advance, about schedule changes. For the latest updated information, view our current calendar.

Enthusiasm for our program is contagious! You may bring a friend or family member who is unfamiliar with or never attended any Leisure Learning programs as a one-time guest to a class. The class price will apply. If your friend joins Leisure Learning, you AND your friend will receive a credit voucher for a future Leisure Learning class or event.

University officials closely monitor weather conditions impacting our area. A UWF closure is a suspension of normal University activities. In the event that the University closes for inclement weather, Leisure Learning classes are also canceled — regardless of where the class is located.

Bad Weather: Tune to WUWF Radio-88.1 for cancellation announcements. Emergency information will also be available through the following outlets:
