Achieve Beyond: BCBA: Part-time

Part-time Supervising BCBA (ABA 1:1 at home and/or the community)

Summary/Job Objective:

Achieve Beyond is leading national Healthcare provider specializing in Pediatric Therapy and Autism services for children from birth through twenty-one years of age. Our family centered approach allows us to work in partnership with families to meet each child’s developmental needs in a nurturing and supportive environment.  We are currently seeking qualified part-time BCBAs to join our team to supervise ABA cases for our private insurance business either in New York, California, Texas or Virginia.  The BCBA would be responsible for providing supervision to trained behavioral therapists providing direct individualized home-based/community Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum.   Children receiving services will range in age from two to twenty-one years of age.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

As the Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will assist with the following but not limited to:

  • Provide direct/indirect supervision to behavioral therapists assigned to cases 
  • Complete paperwork and performance evaluations during / after observations
  • Design curriculum plans, review, and update on a regular basis
  • Design behavior intervention plans
  • Clinically review reports and session notes on a regular basis  
  • Analyze data and implement data-driven program changes
  • Write reports summarizing data and progress for each client supervised
  • Regular communication with parents, behavioral therapists, and the Achieve Beyond office is required
  • Participate in bi-weekly collaborative team meetings for supervised cases
  • Conduct assessments for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum ages 2-21 years of age using the ABLLS-R
  • Per cases assigned, twice yearly clinical write-ups are required for continued approval of ABA services
  • Coordinate with Program Manager / Director of Clinical Services to maintain quality of cases
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with State & Federal regulations).
  • Offer suggestions of incorporating individualized goals into family’s daily routine.
  • Provide parents and teachers with resources.
  • Ensure program quality assurance (services, programs, schedule, staff, etc.)
  • Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in (Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Educational/Health/Human Services, Psychology).
  • BCBA REQUIRED

Experience:

Minimum of one year of ABA client/teacher field supervision

Position: Registered Behavior Technician/ Tech Position

Job Description:

Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) provides ABA therapy in the home, school, and community for children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our program is based on the science and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

We are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about helping children and families to assist in the individualized treatment of learners. The duties and responsibilities of the position include:

      • Working directly with the child, teaching across many skill areas, such as conversation skills, fine/gross motor skills, self-help skills, and pre-academic skills under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
      • Data collection on skills and behavior and making data-based decisions with the client’s team.
      • Involving the child's family into therapy sessions.
      • Learning strategies and procedures to teach children with developmental delays and behavioral needs.
      • Attending team meetings and collaborating with a team of therapists.
      • Traveling to the home of each client on the therapist's case load.

CEAS is currently looking for an individual who is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are looking for a motivated and driven behavior analyst to grow with our organization whose clinical approach fits well with our team. Comprehensive Early Autism Services (CEAS) is an established provider of home based ABA therapy with ten years of experience implementing high quality programming nationwide. We are looking to expand our privately owned practice in the currently underserved Baltimore area. A successful candidate is experienced, but ready to learn while working closely with our Chief Clinical Director.The duties of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) include:

  • Supervising and training non-certified staff
  • Attending bi-weekly team meetings with family members and therapists
  • Providing training and feedback to parents as needed
  • Analyzing data taken by therapy teams and making treatment decisions
  • Updating client goals and treatment plans
  • Taking part in initial assessments for new clients
  • Providing some direct (1:1) service to young children with autism

Requirements

  • This position requires a car, and a willingness to travel in the areas surrounding Baltimore
  • A BCBA certificate
  • Experience working with children or children with disabilities

Salary is competitive and varies depending on coursework completed and previous experience

Job Responsibilities

Clinical and Senior Clinical Supervisors primarily perform the duties and responsibilities of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), demonstrating competency in the assessment and/or treatment of clients through the practice of ABA. They provide direct clinical services to clients and families, supervision of RBTs and the entire therapy team, and trainings to staff, caregivers, and teachers. They ensure the quality culture at Engage, participate in activities for professional growth, and continue to increase their skill sets as BCBAs through trainings and conferences.
