Biography

Yahvdiel Mendez Rosario is a Senior Statistician at the UWF Haas Center and a graduate of the Physics B.A. and Mathematics B.S. programs at the University of West Florida. His academic and professional work combines statistics, mathematics, physics, and computational analysis to support research-driven decision-making. At the Haas Center, Yahvdiel works with statistical analysis, forecasting, data visualization, and quantitative research related to economic and demographic trends. His interests include time series analysis, applied modeling, and the communication of complex data in a clear and meaningful way. During his undergraduate studies, Yahvdiel conducted proseminar research on the heat equation in a two-rod composite model, focusing on transient heat conduction and diffusion behavior across connected materials.
