RADM Don Quinn

Biography

Rear Admiral Don Quinn served for 35 years in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, flying primarily off aircraft carriers in A-6 and EA-6B aircraft.  He commanded a squadron, the Fleet Replacement training squadron, a Carrier Air Wing, Naval Air Training Command, a Carrier Strike Group, Navy Personnel Command, and Naval Education and Training Command.  His flag officer assignments focused primarily on active duty and Reserve military personnel talent management, development, training, and education.  He retired from the Navy in 2014.

Since retirement, he has served as a consultant in a number of endeavors engaged in training and education; both military and civilian.  He also serves in the Northwest Florida Defense Coalition, which advocates in both Washington, DC and Tallahassee for the military bases in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.  He is a member of the Florida Defense Support Commission and the Board of Directors of both the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce and the Pensacola Navy League.

RADM Quinn received his BS Degree in Oceanography from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MA is National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.  He also earned a MS in General Management from Salve Regina University.
