Biography

Jen Grove is Vice President of External Relations at Baptist Health Care.  In this role, Jen provides leadership for corporate marketing, government relations, the Baptist Health Care Foundation, faith and community health programs, and Baptist’s community impact efforts that help the organization live out Baptist’s Vision of being the trusted partner for improving quality of life in the communities it serves. Jen joined the team at Baptist in January 2019 after a career of 25 years at Gulf Power and The Southern Company. 

Jen is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, Purdue University and Leadership Florida, and serves on many state and local boards focused on improving quality of life through health and education, including on the boards of the Greater Pensacola Chamber, the Haas Center at The University of West Florida, Pensacola Young Professionals Advisory Board, Florida’s Great Northwest, the Children’s Movement of Florida, and was a recent gubernatorial appointee as one of two Florida business representatives on the new Florida Credentials Review Committee. 

Jen served as founding Chair of Achieve Healthy EscaRosa, which is the region’s collective impact effort focused on improving health so every resident can live well and thrive.  She also served as a founder of and continues to heavily engage in the work of Achieve Escambia, and was actively engaged in the successful 2020 campaign for the Escambia Children’s Trust. Jen lives in Pensacola with her husband Ray and enjoys spending time with their four sons Scott, Matt, Hank and Andrew (and daughter-in-law Jess) and grandson Lincoln.
