AAP Early Arrival Program

Center for Behavior Analysis hosts an Early Arrival Program for incoming UWF students with Autism who are enrolled in classes for the Fall semester. This program has both virtual and in-person events and will provide students with tools to assist as they transition to the University. Whether students are first-time in college or transfer students, the program helps them learn about Argo life and meet peers in the Argos Autism Program.


Early arrival occurs in August of each year. Please check back for updates regarding 2024 registration.

Eligible students must be accepted to the university and enrolling for the Fall semester.

Topics will include:

  • University Life
  • Academic Strategies
  • Social Skills
  • Career Readiness

The program is available for students who will be distance learners as well as students attending in-person classes.

  • 8/14/23 - Virtual welcome. Students will gain access to workshops and activities through eLearning
  • 8/15/23 - Virtual session for parents
  • 8/16/23 - Early move in for students living on campus
  • 8/17/23 - On campus program for students
  • 8/18/23 - Individual on-campus assistance available for students

The Fall 2023 program will be a hybrid event with virtual and on-campus programming during the week of August 14-18, 2023.

Argos Early Arrival costs $50.
