Biography

Sarah I. Liffick has worked in theatrical production since 2019. Sarah worked professionally for Peach State Summer Theatre as a Master Carpenter beginning in 2019. In 2022 and 2023, she worked as Technical Director for the same company. She worked as the Scene Shop Supervisor at Valdosta State University from 2021 to 2022. Sarah then took a Technical Director position with Cortland Repertory Theatre in New York in 2024.

During her employment as a Technical Director, Sarah oversaw all aspects of the technical side of productions. Her duties included drafting, budgeting, building, and supervising student workers, as well as coordinating with the directors and various department heads to ensure the productions ran smoothly and safely. 

Sarah began working at UWF in the Fall of 2025.

Degrees & Institutions

After receiving her AA from Chipola College in Marianna, Florida, Sarah went on to earn her BFA in Theatre Production from Valdosta State University in 2019. She followed this with an MFA in Technical Production from Florida State University in 2025.
