The Art Gallery (TAG) at UWF presents The Art of Design: The Design of Art. On display in this exhibition are samples of student work completed for the TAG Graphic Design Internship from 2010 to the present. This internship was developed and piloted by Amy Bowman-McElhone, Joseph Herring, Amy Ruddick, Jerre Brisky, and Nicholas Croghan. The goal for this program is to provide students with an opportunity to work in a professional environment, gain experience working with clients, and develop accomplished portfolios. The interns are challenged to create engaging exhibition material that includes postcards, posters, catalogues, brochures, logo design, brand identity, motion graphics, and web design. In addition to creating unique graphic work for the Art Gallery, the interns also developed designs for the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, the Theatre Department, the Music Department, and the Pensacola Museum of Art.
