The Art Gallery at the University of West Florida presents “This Moment Together: A Faculty Show for John Markowitz.” Honoring the legacy of the late UWF art and design lecturer John Markowitz, the show features faculty works that speak to his influence on their artistic journeys. “This Moment Together: A Faculty Show for John Markowitz” will run Oct. 2 through Nov. 20.

Presented as this year’s TAG biennial faculty exhibition, this show seeks to create a shared moment of reflection, connection and creative exchange by featuring a curated selection of Markowitz paintings alongside faculty work. John Markowitz taught at UWF for over 20 years in addition to working as a professional artist. His works have been exhibited nationwide, with solo exhibitions at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Millersville University of Pennsylvania and the Morris Street Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina.
