Purchasing Technology
DAESA Technology Support Services oversees the purchasing and property management inventory system of technology assets within the Division.
Hardware & Software Purchasing
In order to ensure that DAESA technology assets are accurately inventoried and meet the ITS Campus Hardware Recommendations all purchases of the items listed below should be processed through the DAESA Technology Support Services Office.
- Laptop and Desktop computers
- Laser and Inkjet Printers
- Scanners
- Monitors/LCD Screens
- Battery Backups
- iPads or Tablets
- LCD Projectors and Conference Room Technology
Additionally, software programs and platforms used in the Division should also be discussed with the Technology Support Services Office prior to purchasing or installation as it is important to assure compatibility with current University software. Also, the University is granted special educational discounts on many software bundles and may have limited license agreements with particular companies that may be bought into through the LSP which could save you money.
Hardware and Software purchases will be charged to the appropriate unit's index unless part of the Division's replacement/upgrade process which is budget dependent.
Request a Quote for Hardware or Software
Peripherals and smaller technology items such as keyboards, mice, web cameras, speakers, cables, storage devices, etc. may be purchased as part of normal office supply purchase processes using University-approved vendors. If you need assistance or recommendations, please submit a service desk ticket using the "request a quote" link above.
